These suspenders are very attractive and are almost 2" wide. The clasps are easy to use and remain secure to hold up your britches. The wider straps are so much more comfortable along the top of the shoulders, in my opinion as a daily wearer. The style of this pair prevents them from slipping off the shoulders, which is a real pain! These are easy to adjust, as well. The fabric has a fair amount of stretch which is exactly what I was looking for because I want them to feel snug, but also want to be able to bend over from time to time and need to have enough "give" to be able to do so. These are just right, as far as having the right amount of elasticity.
